Why Pilates?

Marina began practicing Pilates in 2009 and quickly recognized its transformative impact—not just on strength and flexibility, but on the way she moved through her day. What started as a personal practice evolved into a deeper appreciation for intelligent, intentional movement.

Although the idea of teaching lingered in the background for years, the demands of medical training kept her focused elsewhere. When her career finally reached a steadier rhythm, discovering Control Studios felt like perfect timing. Their rigorous, thoughtful approach to Pilates aligned with her values of precision, alignment, and purposeful progression. She completed their apprenticeship program and became a certified instructor.

As a teacher, Marina brings clarity, structure, and encouragement to every session. Her classes are challenging by design—built to develop strength, stability, and mobility in a way that translates beyond the studio. She believes Pilates should be accessible yet empowering, technically sound yet engaging. Clients can expect focused cueing, intentional programming, and an environment where they are supported to push just past their comfort zone—safely and confidently.

Her goal is simple: help you move better, feel stronger, and leave each session knowing you are more capable than you thought.
