Why Pilates?

I was looking to expand my at-home exercise routine and discovered the late Romona trained Mari Winsor Pilates DvDs online and thought I would give them a try. I was instantly convinced that Contrology was great movement for my body and did various workouts two to three times a week. In 2015, I went to a grand opening party for Pilates Methodology, a classical boutique studio in Dallas, where a became a member of the studio and took my practice from home to a new studio. When I moved back home to Houston in 2021, I decided that I wanted to spread my love of Pilates to others and get formally educated of the history of Pilates. I contacted Control Studios to learn more about the Teacher Trainer program. I became a practicing body for an apprentice that was in the Real Pilates program in 2022 where I physically practiced from Beginner to Advanced levels. I joined the Real Pilates Teacher Training program in 2023 and graduated in 2024. I am committed to prioritizing client satisfaction by embracing the idea of lifelong learning.

I do this by always being a student of the method and a teacher of the lineage of Uncle Joe.
